Following the success of the the Audi TT in South Africa earlier this year, the compact sports car range will see a new addition – the Audi TTS Coupe!
Returning in the third generation, the Audi TTS shares the same engine as the Audi S3 range. The 2.0T FSI engine, producing 210kW of power and 380Nm of torque is able to reach 0-100 km/h in a mere 4.8 seconds.
The combined fuel consumption is 7.1l/100km with a corresponding CO2 emissions figure of 164g/km.
The Audi TTS is only available in Coupe bodystyle with the ‘S tronic‘ transmission. This includes the launch control function which regulates maximum acceleration from a standstill. The new Audi TTS also features all-wheel drive, delivering enhanced stability, traction and driving fun.
As for the exterior – the Audi TTS shares the same design as the Audi TT, but comes with a few additional highlights. To highlight its sportiness, the body has been lowered by 10mm, an updated grille has been added, wider air intakes and four-rear exhaust pipes have also been added. Combined with the aluminium style exterior mirrors and 19-inch wheels, the Audi TTS becomes instantly recognisable.
