Maybe in 20 years electric mobility will be as big as the internet is now
This ad encompasses peoples confusion towards the internet 21 years ago, and uses it brilliantly to promote the new BMW i3. It features its all-electric i3 with broadcast journalists Katie Couric and Bryant Gumbel. In 1994, both journalists expressed their confusion over the Internet and what an e-mail address is.
“In 1994, people had not yet grasped what the internet was, which is similar to how electric mobility is viewed today,” said Trudy Hardy, Vice President of Marketing, BMW of North America.
