Fortuner driver nearly crashes into baby elephant - #GameDriveFail

Footage of a tourist driving a Fortuner and narrowly missing a young elephant in the Kruger National park has gone viral.

Footage of a tourist driving a Fortuner and narrowly missing a young elephant in the Kruger National park has gone viral.

After the calf’s mother mock charges the vehicle, the driver reverses and then hastily heads on again, and nearly T-bones the passing young elephant.

There’s been much outrage from the public as to the driving behaviour shown in the video, and many people have urged for the driver to be reported.

Others feel that perhaps being caught in the middle of a mother elephant and her calf would leave anyone in a bit of a panic, but watch how the driver speeds past two other cars at a turn-off at the start of the video.

The incident was filmed close to the Lower Sabie rest camp.
